The National Alliance for Caregiving (NAC) held its inaugural Caregiver Nation Summit on October 25th-26th in Washington, DC. NAC convened 100+ leaders across caregiving, disability, patient advocacy, and aging to shape the future of caregiving and strengthen our National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers.
Together We:
- Developed advocacy and coalition-building strategies to better serve family caregivers across 10 states.
- Charted a new path forward to address the unmet needs of cancer caregivers.
- Engaged with policymakers, including Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Senator Ed Markey (D-MA), and Congressman Bobby Scott (D-VA) on the National Strategy to Support Family Caregivers.
